Teacher says: Actually, if you have ever had a McDonald’s strawberry milkshake, you have eaten
everything that I just said! Repeat some of ingredients the kids didn’t know for additional effect.
Today we’re going to start learning about the difference between “real food” and “fake food.”
Introduction to New Material:
Complete graphic organizer comparing real food and fake foods:
REAL FOODS use kitchen graphic organizer.
 Foods that you eat basically how they are grown.
 Foods that don’t have anything added to them.
 Foods that you can recognize and cook yourself in your kitchen.
FAKE FOODS use factory graphic organizer.
 Foods that are changed a lot with chemicals from how they are grown.
 Foods that have a lot of things added to them.
 Foods that you cannot cook yourself in a kitchen.
