Department: Office Systems Technology Associate Degree Mission: The mission of the Office Systems Technology associate degree is to provide quality educational opportunities in response to community need and through excellence in teaching which leads to initial employment and career advancement in the administrative field for a business office. Purpose: The Office Systems Technology curriculum will assist students in developing basic and advanced skills in micro-computer word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet, web page and database design and maintenance. Students will focus on communication, accounting, professional development and office management skills, as well as office procedures.
