2 Registration and Accepted Teams
2.1 Overview
National and Regional ACM-ICPC Programming Contests have been organized
continuously in Vietnam since 2006. From these contests, many excellent teams
from prestige universities in Vietnam have been successfully selected to attend
ACM-ICPC World Finals within the last 10 years.
In 2015, Provincial Programming Contests are first organized in Vietnam to
further attract local teams from institutions in each region of Vietnam to
participate in ACM-ICPC programming contests. The series of provincial contests
can be considered as a preparation tier for local teams before they actually
participate in Vietnam National Programming Contest, organized in October 31,
2015, then 2015 ACM-ICPC Asia Hanoi Regional Contest, organized in Hanoi in
November 26-27, 2015.
This year, there are three provincial programming contests, each of which is
dedicated for different regions in Vietnam (Northern, Central, and Southern
areas). Vietnam Southern Provincial Programming Contest 2015, is the very first
provincial contest of Vietnam. It is our honor for Ho Chi Minh city University of
Science (HCMUS) to host this pioneer provincial programming contest in
Vietnam.
