Entrance Requirements
This is a limited access program. March 1deadline for both university and department applications.
A minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum grade of “C” in each program prerequisite course is
required (no CLEP or AP credit). Interview required.
The primary role of the radiographer is to perform medical imaging
procedures and diagnose disease
and injuries. Radiation therapists
work closely with physicians to
deliver high-energy radiation for the
treatment of cancer. Graduates are
eligible to take the national
registered technologist certification
examination. Positions include
radiographer and radiation
therapist in hospitals, clinics, and
physicians’ offices.
