Employment opportunities exist in
forest resources management, urban
forestry, international and agroforestry, forest science, ecotourism
(educational, recreational, and
financial aspects of nature-based,
leisure-time opportunities), landscape ecology, computer information
systems (links computer based
information technologies with the
management of natural resources),
environmental pre-law, wetland
ecosystems, and environmental
education (educators with public or
private agencies which do not require
a formal teaching certificate).

Entrance Requirements
A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in preprofessional courses listed below. The program
begins in the Summer I term at UF. Students who begin in the fall or spring terms will be at a disadvantage academically and may find it necessary to extend their residence at UF because of course sequencing.
