Strongly encourage you to utilize the forms provided in each lesson for your assignments.
This way you will not miss anything that is required.
Muscular and Flexibility: For this project, you are a fitness instructor at the YMCA. You are planning to
teach an introductory "crash-course" class at the gym for people who are struggling to fit a regular stretching
and muscular workout routine into their busy schedules. You will design a workout routine that addresses each
class's specific flexibility and muscular training needs.
Community Wellness: For this project, you are a director of a teen health organization dedicated to
supporting the wellness choices of teens in your community. You will develop and conduct a survey to identify
an issue that is a significant challenge to teens in your community and research information about this issue.
You will create a tool that will generate public awareness of the issue and influence others to make positive
wellness choices.
Nutrition: For this project, you are a dietitian. You work with clients of all ages, physical activity levels, and
backgrounds to assess the individual nutritional needs and goals. You will design nutritional plans and weekly
menus to help clients meet their individual needs and goals.
Sportsmanship: For this project, you are an international travel coordinator who works with students
interested in international group travel experiences. The organization you represent is offering 10 all-expense
paid scholarships to the applicants who are most qualified to accomplish the goals of the trip while working as
part of a team. You will create an informational brochure regarding the destination and goals of the trip and
identify the attitudes and behaviors of ideal candidates. You will also prepare an orientation program to
enhance the students' understanding of attitudes and behaviors contributing to success, effective
communication, conflict resolution, and working with diverse teams of people.
