By doing that Joe is forced to face the truth that he's responsible for his son's death, which leads to him committing suicide. Sue: she brings up the money issue. She represents the American society, which Is materialistic, and shows the conflict between materialism and idealism. However, she's afraid George wants to reopen the case. That's why she warns Joe not to say anything. But eventually she's the one who reveals the truth. b. ANSWER: Keller suddenly agrees to help Chris and do anything he can to make the marriage with Ann possible. Keller even suggests adding Chris' name on the sign.
