Babysitter Training
This course provides youth age 11-15 who plan to
babysit with the leadership skills and knowledge
necessary to safely and responsibly provide basic child
and infant care and first aid. Participants receive a CDROM with templates for business cards and a resume;
downloads, including a database for organizing client
information; and a booklet of activities, games, crafts and
recipes. Certification in Child CPR and First Aid Training
will be offered in special continuation courses.
Before enrolling, please check your schedule to make
sure you can arrive on time (or a few minutes early)
every Wednesday and can stay until 9:15pm. Classes
begin promptly at 6 pm and students must be present for
the entire class period every week in order to complete
certification. Participants who miss any part of a class
will not be permitted to finish the series of classes and
the fee will not be refunded. Class size is limited! Note:

Adult and Child CPR
Class content covers performing rescue breathing,
clearing an obstructed airway, and performing onerescuer CPR. You’ll also learn ways you can prevent
injuring yourself and get tips on leading a healthier life in
this American Red Cross class. Certification is valid for
two years. The manual is included in the price. The same
manual is used for this class and First Aid training.
Before enrolling, please check your schedule to make
sure you can arrive on time (or a few minutes early) every
week and can stay until the class ends. Students must be
present for the entire class period every week in order to
be prepared to take the certification test. Participants who
miss any part of a class will not be permitted to finish the
series of classes and will not receive a refund. If you have
questions or if you are interested in completing the Infant
CPR certification as a continuation of the Adult & Child

First Aid Training
First aid is for the whole family, at work or at leisure.
Learn how to treat common injuries, including bites,
burns, bleeding and scrapes, as well as first aid
emergencies such as shock, spinal injury and poisoning.
You must attend the entire class to meet official Red
Cross certification requirements. Certification is valid
for two years. Class size is limited; register early! Note:
The participant book is included in the price of the class.
The same book is used for First Aid and all CPR classes.

Adult/Child CPR Review
American Red Cross Adult and
Child CPR Review for Re-Certification
This class is for participants who are currently certified
in Adult and Child CPR and need to be recertified. All
participants must bring their current (not expired) CPR
certification to the class. The first year of American Heart
Association certification will be acceptable. Questions?
