for a traditional European mid-day meal. We don’t know what the menu is as yet,
but the Deer Valley food and wine staff are putting together a five-course meal and
the award-winning head of food and beverage, Julie Wilson, is developing a firstclass tasting profile for the event.

From Salt Lake:
Take I-80 East to Kimball Junction (Exit 145 state highway 224)
Drive on highway 224 (also called Park Avenue).
Take highway 224 to the Deer Valley Drive intersection and turn left at Jan’s
Mountain Outfitters.
Proceed to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Marsac avenue.
Marsac Avenue is a beautiful winding mountain road that will take you right to
the Empire Lodge.
Park in the designated areas.
