SPEAKERS PROFILE
Caesar Wong
Caesar is a Tax Partner with Deloitte. He has more than 20 years of experience in providing China and cross-border tax and business services, including living and
working in Shanghai during 1994/95 and again from 2004 to 2009. He is now based in southern China to extend our assistance to clients in southern China. Caesar has
served multinational and domestic corporations in a wide range of industries with investments in various cities across China and overseas. He has advised corporations
on entrance strategies, cross-border investment structures, due diligence studies, business integration and restructuring, company formation and registration, profit
repatriation schemes, indirect tax planning, transfer pricing strategies, tax audit solutions and tax ruling applications. He successfully helped a major multinational hi-tech
group to secure the first Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) in Shanghai in early 2001, which was also the first APA in China applicable to service income. Caesar is a
Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ("ACCA") and Member of Tax Committee of ACCA Hong Kong Branch. Caesar is also a member of
the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the China Tax Sub-Committee member of Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He was the Examiner for
Advanced Taxation (China) of the final stage of the ACCA professional examinations in 2002 and is Examination Board Member of Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.
Janet Zhang
Janet is a Tax Director based in Southern China. Janet has 16 years of experience in tax and business advisory services with clients in various industries. She is the
core team member of Deloitte Indirect Tax service team in Southern China and is specialized in providing customs, value added tax and other indirect tax services. She is
experienced in advising solutions and tax planning scheme to the recent changes in indirect tax regulations and administration, adjustments on processing trade policies,
tax authority and Customs enhancing inspection on enterprises as well as assist in dealing with tax disputes, audit or inspection cases with the Customs and tax
authorities. She has also assisted clients in tax planning in restructuring, IPO, merger and acquisition transactions. She obtained a Master Degree in Accounting and is a
Certified Public Accountant in China.
Wing Wu
Wing is a Tax Manager based in Southern China. She has nearly 9 years of tax professional experience. Wing is specialized in providing Global Employer Services
including individual income tax compliance and consulting services. She is specialized in solutions for global compensation and benefits review and planning, China visa
and immigration solutions, stock option registration and other global assignment related matters for the employers and expatriates in China. Wing is a member of Certified
Tax Agents (CTA) in China.
