10th Ed.

COURSE OBJECTIVE: This course is designed to familiarize the student with the
numerous aspects involved in human sexuality that many fail to recognize. Such
aspects include the biological, social, and behavioral components that include much
more than the typical perception of only intercourse. Moreover, the student will
learn hormonal processes and the impact on behavior, sexual dysfunctions and
treatments, common sexual myths and fallacies, and the other components
motivating sexual behaviors.

expected to participate in all educational activities that include classroom
discussions, assignments, being on time, and staying the entire class.
Chronic absences, disruptions or chronic tardiness is not tolerated due to class size.
ANY STUDENT WHO DOES NOT INITIAL THE ROSTER IS NOT PRESENT.
IT IS THE STUDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY TO DROP THEMSELVES FROM
THE COURSE OR, THE PROFESSOR MAY DROP A STUDENT WHO HAS
EXCEEDED ABSENCES PER 5150 OF BOARD POLICY. EXCESSIVE

DO NOT ALTER THE OUTCOME.

examinations. Each examination will have 25 questions and yield 100 percent. The
exam questions will be from the assigned readings and lectures detailed on the
syllabus that the student should read carefully to avoid academic problems.

AN EXAM WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE TEST AND WILL RECEIVE A
ZERO that will be averaged into their final grade.
