Otis Redding, have most in common?
You get five guesses: Guess # 1:“They
were all in the music business?”
“True. But this is not what they have
most in common.” Guess #2: “They
were all Afro-Americans?” “Yes. But
this is not the greatest commonality that
they share.” Guess #3: “All of their
careers ended prematurely?” “Yes they
did; but that’s not the answer.”
Guess #4: “They all died before they
were 50 years old?” “Correct. But
that’s not it.” Guess #5: “They all died
tragic, unexpected deaths?” “Right. But
what they have in common is even
more tragic and unexpected than their
deaths.” What they have most in
common is found in the following true
story:
“There was a certain rich man, which
was clothed in purple and fine linen,
and fared sumptuously every day: and
there was a certain beggar named
Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full
of sores, and desiring to be fed with the
crumbs which fell from the rich man’s
table: moreover the dogs came and
licked his sores. And it came to pass,
that the beggar died, and was carried by
the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the
rich man also died and was buried; and
in Hell he lift up his eyes, being in
torments, and seeth Abraham afar off,

that right know, according to God’s
Word, the Bible, they are being
tormented in Hell.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall
not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not
deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolators, nor adulterers, nor
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves
with mankind, nor thieves, nor
covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers,
nor extortioners, shall inherit the
kingdom of God…But the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake of fire
and brimstone: which is the second
death.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11,
Revelation 21:8)
God says that as those Rap, Motown,
and Hip Hop stars, and the rich man,
are burning in Hell for their sins, you
also will not inherit the kingdom of
God but will be cast into the lake of fire
if you have ever been any of the
following: a fornicator (had sex outside
of marriage), an idolator (served
anything except the Lord Jesus Christ:
food, sex, yourself, work, school,
money, friends, etc..), an adulterer
(looked lustfully at anybody), an
effeminate (had or desired to have
homosexual or lesbian sex), an abuser
of yourself with mankind (had sex for
money), a thief (taken what was not
yours), a covetous person (desired what
was not yours), a drunkard (been
intoxicated by alcohol or drugs), a
reviler (been physically or mentally
abusive to others), an extortioner
(forced money or information from
others by violence, intimidation, abuse
of authority), fearful (been faithless,
shy), unbelieving (been disbelieving of
and disobedient to Christ and the
Bible), abominable (been disgusting to
Christ by serving sin and yourself
instead of serving Him), murderers
(having killed, or had dislike, lack of
love, hatred, in your heart toward
others), whoremongers (had sex for
money or had sex outside of marriage),
liars (spoken what is untrue, attempted
to deceive by doing, saying what is
false), sorcerers (been a drug dealer,
drug user, dabbling in magic or
religions besides Biblical Christianity),
or if you have committed any other
sins.
Because you have chosen to sin, break
God’s Law, and live as a child of the
devil instead of a child of God, God has
chosen to blot you out of His Book of
Life (Exodus 32:33). You will die,
because of your choice to sin (Ezekiel
18:4). After death, you will be judged
by God for your sin and cast into the
lake of fire, forever, as punishment.
(Revelation 20:15).
In your desperate state, Christ says to
you, “Except ye repent, ye shall all
likewise perish!” (Luke 13:3, 5) As a
child of the devil, you deserve to burn
forever in the lake of fire with satan,
your father, for your sins (John 8:44;
Matthew 25:46). “But God
commendeth His love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us” (Romans 5:8). In light of
the selfish, sinful, satanic, hatred that
you have expressed towards God by
breaking His Laws, compared with the
love that He extends to you through the
brutal death of His Son as the only
Acceptable Sacrifice for your sins, you
need to immediately reconsider your
life, stop living for satan, sin and self,
surrender your life completely to the
Lord Jesus Christ, and live with the
sole purpose of loving, obeying, and
pleasing Him, and equally loving
others, in accordance with His Word.
Only by changing from living to please
yourself, to living to love and
completely obey Christ, can you be
saved from burning in Hell with the
fallen stars of rap city, Motown sound,
and the hip hop nation.
