ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Action of human movement (AHM) is a Registered Non Governmental voluntary
Organization. The office of the Action of Human Movement (AHM) is located at
Kammalapoondi village, Uthiramerur town panchayat of Kancheepuram district.
It is about 99 Km South East of the Tamil Nadu state Capital Chennai and 37Km from
the district Headquarters Kancheepuram.
The Corporate Office is Located at Uthiramerur Town Panchayath of Kancheepuram
district.
The Action of Human Movement (AHM) Conduct training Programme through various
Social Awareness Activities. Namely child right Campaign, HIV/AIDS awareness
Campaigns, Orientation programme on HIV/AIDS Programme, carrier guidance camp
for school final students, followup programme on carrier guidance programme,
Adolecent girls medical camp, health awareness camp to adolescent girls, Medical Camp
at Manampathy, Life education camp at uthiramerur, spoken English class, Tailoring &
embroidery classes to the rural youth, Government programe participation at salavakkam,
peurnagar, R.N. Kandiga & Kammalampoondi , Job Placement Cell Were conducted in
and around Uthiramerur Bolck.
AHM has entered into its third year of its establishment. This year was a remarkable
year to AHM,because it was entered in to new kinds of programme with the experience
which was gained in the previous year. This experience had given a new views and news
for this year projects.

1. Registered as an Indian societies Act 27 of 1975.

Main Activities of the AHM
I.
Working with children’s.
Child right campaign
This Campaign was conducted at doosi, sri Mauthi vidyalaya Primary and Nursary
school. This programme was preside over by Rtd. Sub – collector Mr. K. Ramachandiran
welcome address was given by the school head mistress Miss. Manjula. The Resourse
Person Mr. C. Arockiaraj. Explains about the child rights. Vote of thanks was given by
Mr. Pandiyan and the evaluation was conducted by the school correspondent Mr. Sankara
Narayananan. This news was published in the Dinamani News paper on 10th October.
Seminar on HIV / AIDS Awareness :
This one day seminar was conducted at AHM corporate office. There are 5 Ngo’s Heads
Were Participated. AHM Project coordinator Mr. Charles, welcomes all the participants
and Mr. K. Pandian gave the vote of thanks.
The Main theme of this programme was how the Ngo’s have to work with HIV/AIDS
Prevention care and Support to the rural people.
Awareness Camp in High School
Examination preparation camp:
This Examination preparation camp was conducted at kammalampoondi high school, 10th
students. 120 students were participated.
This camp was sponsored by bank of India, Kammalampoondi, and all traders association
Uthiramerur. This camp was preside over by Mr. R. Vaidyanathan, Manager bank of
India . The Main Participant was Mr. Mohan village president, School head Maser,
Project Coordinator Mr. K. Charles, AHM Treasurer Mr. K. Pandian.
This Camp Eliminates the Examination Phobia (Fear), Psychological Ways to improve
the memory power and HIV / AIDS awareness were given to the students.
Working with Adolescent student
Health Camp:
This camp was conducted at Uthiramerur. More than 7 villages was participated this
camp. This program was conducted with Govt. Doctors of Manampathy Primary Health
Centre.
The Main Points Of this Seminar were
1. Post and Pre Maternal Care.
2. HIV/AIDS Awareness.
3. Health and Hygiene.
Iron folic acid tablets were given to the adolescent girls. The Participants were from
agaramdooli, Atheyoor, Kattupakkam, Paruthi kollai, A.P, Chatiram, Pattenchery and
Kammalampoondi. This News was published on 16th march 2007 in the dinamani news
paper.
Non formal Technical Education:
Spoken English:
Oxford spoken English Institute was opened on July 2nd 2006. This institute is running
successfully.
Fifteen students are studying now in the institute. Now the Institute is moving to get
government Recognition certificate for the spoken English Course.
These spoken English course helpful to school final students, college students and
working women’s in the rural.
Tailoring and embroidery:
AHM Institute of tailoring and embroidery was started on 2nd July of 2007. Fifteen
students are studying now. Now the Institute is moving to get Government recognition
from Human Resource development.
In Kancheepuram district there were so many garments factories are there. So they need
large amount of girls and boys for this garments factory. So this course got vital role in
AHM NGO.
Carrier Guidance and job placement cell:
AHM NGO works for the rural People. But this rural mass does not have a good guide
and good employment opportunity.
So the AHM NGO starts the carrier guidance and job placement cell. AHM dose this job
placement cell with Don bosco placement cell chengalpattu.
MEDICAL CAMP AT MANAMPATHI
This medical camp was conducted on 23.03.2007 at Manampathy villages. The govt
doctors of manampathy primary health centre were given the treatement . Around 400
peoples of 7 villages were participated in this camp. This news was published in
Dinagaran news paper on 23.03.07
MASS MEDIA AWARENESS CAMP
This mass Media audio and Video Awareness camp was conducted at uthiramur the post
and Pre Maternity care film was showed to young girls. Mr. Kalathi from Manampathy
primary health centre who is preside over the function. This news was published ob 25th
april 2007 in dinamalar news paper.
LIFE EDUCATION AWARENESS CAMP.
This camp was conducted with Moon light seva trust Thiruvannamalai and oxford spoken
English Institute student were participated in this camp. Mr. Sivalingam Preside over the
function Mr. A. V. Jeyaseelan. MSW Leads the Participant. He Explains important of
having break fast, how to improve the personality, and he explains how set the goal in
their life. This news was published in Dinagaran news paper on 30th may 2007.
PARTICIPATION WITH GOVERNMENT PROGRAMME EXHIBITION FOR
VARUMMUN KAPPOM THITTAM AT SALAVAKKAM , PERUNAGAR, R.N. KANDIGAI, AND
KAMMALAMPOONDI.
This Tamilnadu government health camp program is being a mobile ultra facility camp.
All the department doctors were inspected the rural people. The AHM NGO takes a vital
part in this camp. It arranged a HIV/AIDS Prevention care support exhibition for the
salavakkam, Perunagar, R.N. Kandigai and Kammalampoondi Village People
ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING AND EVALUATIN
Society board member and Executive members evaluate the NGO in all aspects.
They gave lot of suggestion and modification.
