2014-2015 Dance Season
In order to take full advantage of the instruction offered, regular attendance is
necessary. There are no refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes are taken within
other available classes upon approval by Miss Jill.
Graded System
A graded system and placement of students according to training, age and ability or
effort, guarantees the steady progress of each class and the self-confidence of students.
Regrouping is considered on the basis of individual achievement, age, and grade. Classes
may consist of different individuals from year to year. Class size is limited. Every student must
take ballet unless student is only studying tap.
Dance Attire - Must have proper shoes by the FOURTH LESSON.
ATTIRE NOT ALLOWED: T-shirts, sweatshirts, cover-ups, shorts, and two piece leotards. Hair
must be up and secured keeping hair off face and neck. Adv.- Hair in Bun. Pre-school and
all beginner classes must wear long or short sleeve black leotard with pink tights. All
intermediate and advanced classes may wear solid colored leotards with pink or suntan
tights. Dance shorts allowed during tap classes. No dance shorts during jazz, ballet or
pointe. Leotards and tights must be worn as it allows the students maximum movement with no
restrictions; these garments are made to take the wear and tear of hard physical movement.
Boys must wear jump suits, jazz pants or warm-up outfits.
Beginners I, II, III & Pre-School

Studio Accounts - There are no refunds for missed classes.
You will receive a tuition and costume payment packet before the dance season
begins. This packet will include a payment booklet and envelopes. Payments may either
be mailed to the studio or placed in studio tuition box using the payment envelope and
corresponding stub from your payment booklet. All payments will be recorded by the date
received not the date on the check. All payments received after the 15th of each month must
include late fees. There will be a $30.00 charge for all returned checks. Leotard rehearsals, dress
rehearsal, and two snow days are included within the thirty-six lessons.
Classroom Observing
Parents week of viewing in December will be stated in future notices.
Snow days
No classes when Shelton public schools are cancelled or dismissed early
because of weather conditions. Refer to News Channel 8 and MYTV9 for closing info.

Registration Fee - Recital - Costumes
Non-refundable registration fee is thirty dollars per family. Recital 2015 to be held at the Klein
located in Bridgeport. Costume fees are $72.00 per child size and $84.00 per adult size.
(Child size costumes will include gloves (when needed), bows for tap shoes and headpieces.) Four month
payment stubs for costumes will be included in payment booklet. Accessories will be billed in February.

Directions: From Huntington Center take Ripton Road, Lucille Drive is third road on right. Studio is first
house on left. Park in half circle driveway. On street please park on same side as studio. Please do not
turn around in neighbor's driveway! Follow sidewalk and enter studio by back door. THANK YOU!
