Policies and Procedures
BILLING – Dance payments are payable the first class of each month. Our monthly dues are a flat rate. If
you are absent because of illness ETC you have the option to make up the class. There will be a $10 charge
added to the following month if not included. Tuition must be paid for your child to continue in the class. You
can drop your payment in the payment box that will be located in the waiting room.
RETURNED CHECKS – There will be a charge of $20.00 for any returned checks and the fee will be
added to your monthly payment.
HOLIDAYS/VACATIONS –The following times are the only time we do not have dance. (Thanksgiving
Wed & Thurs November 25th & 26th. (Christmas break), (Spring break) and (Memorial Day) All other
Monday holidays we DO have classes. We will be giving you specific dates soon for Christmas break and spring
break.
DANCE ATTIRE – (Long hair should be neatly secured back for all classes) COMBINATION, TAP, OR
JAZZ classes – Any color dance attire may be worn for class. Jazz and hip-hop classes, please wear some kind of
workout wear, dance shorts, sweats, etc. Please do not wear jeans or clothes you cannot move freely in.
(Ballet or pointe class requires black leotard and pink tights). Hair should be secured in a bun.
Please wear appropriate shoes – Black tap shoes, pink ballet slippers, pink point shoes, tan jazz shoes for jazz
and black jazz sneakers for Hip-hop. COMBINATION classes are only required to have ballet and tap shoes.
There will not be any street shoe allowed on dance floor. Please keep dance shoes just for
classes and do not wear them outside. It tracks many things onto our dance floor!!
COSTUMES
–Costumes will be ordered in January; all deposits for costumes must be in no later
than the first week of December.
We will start collecting a $40 costume deposits as soon as we start our classes. Please have complete
deposit in by the week of Dec 1st. There will not be any refunds after January 1st. Remember that
for each class your child is in, a separate deposit is required. If your child is in 2 classes a total of
$80.00 will be due for deposit. Once a costume is ordered there will be NO refunds and if for some
reason your child drops a class the costume balance will still be your responsibility and due by
required date. We try to keep costumes as affordable as possible .
(Please make all costume deposits and balances separate from your monthly payment .)
RECITAL – The dates of our recital will be Saturday May 30th and Sunday May 31st..
Dress rehearsal is on Friday May 29th. We do have our recital 2 days, so please
make sure your child can attend both performances. Tickets are assigned seating
and are $10 for general, $15 & $20 for upgraded seats.
FOOD AND DRINKS – NO FOOD AND DRINK in the dance room. We will allow water
bottles. Also, no street shoes will be allowed on the dance floor. NO GUM!! We also ask
that if you do bring snacks into the waiting room to please clean up any mess that has been made.
We would like to keep our environment a clean and healthy one!!

build a strong body and gives much needed self-confidence. We hope you will find that Dance is a
