DC/MD/VA NASPP Chapter Event August 16, 2006 (new date) 10:00 – 12:00 This is the re-scheduled event from June 28th that had to be postponed. This is the first in a series of local NASPP events this summer to help NASPP members network and learn about all the changes to equity compensation. As the regulatory environment continues to evolve, and with Issuers now complying with FAS 123r, Equity Compensation remains a hot topic. Listen to experts from Merrill Lynch talk about recent trends in Equity Compensation and the prevalence of performance shares. Information about the speakers is provided below: Paul Allen Director – Sales, Merrill Lynch Equity Award Services Paul returns to Merrill Lynch with over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. He most recently held the position of Managing Director/Senior Relationship Manager at Citigroup in New York. Paul was responsible for New Business Development and Client Relationship Management for the Global Transaction Services Business. Before joining Citigroup, Paul was the Managing Director of Stock Plan Services Business at Smith Barney. In that role, Paul had a significant impact on growing their Stock Plan business, which was responsible for servicing 1,000 corporate clients, including 6 of the Fortune 10 and supporting over 3 million underlying participants. His experience prior to Smith Barney includes 4 years in the Defined Contribution Business at the Dreyfus Corporation and 4 years at Merrill Lynch working in the 401k and Equity Compensation Groups. Stephanie Ceglia Vice President, Merrill Lynch Equity Award Services Product Development Manager Stephanie Ceglia is a Vice President and Senior Manager of Merrill Lynch’s Equity Plan Product. In this role she is responsible for strategic product development and profitability for Merrill Lynch’s equity business lines. These include direct execution, linked execution and full service administration. Stephanie joined Merrill Lynch in 1999 and served in a variety of roles including tactical operations management, plan processing and conversion.
