What to do next …… Spring 2015 _____ Pay admission tuition deposit fee (full-time students only and all allied health accepts). _____ Apply for financial aid, if needed (March 31st preferred deadline for Fall, October 1st preferred deadline for Spring). Links to required forms are available from the financial aid section of the NCC website. _____ Request that final high school transcripts or GED (and college transcripts, if applicable) be sent to NCC, Admissions Office. _____ Complete the Housing Application with $25 fee, if needed (this is different than the NCC Admissions Application). _____ Take placement test, if needed (see schedule and information enclosed). Student will need Social Security Number when testing. _____ If you have any significant health issues such as a heart condition, seizure condition, asthma, diabetes, orthopedic injury, etc. that may present itself on campus, and thus result in the Health Center having to contact your physician or emergency contacts, please call our Health and Wellness Center at 610-861-5365. _____ Activate your NCC Plus Card refund preference after paying for classes. Cards should be received approximately one week after tuition payment is made. All students are required to activate a preference even if they choose not to open the NCC Plus Card debit account. See insert for additional information. DO NOT THROW YOUR NCC PLUS CARD AWAY. LOST CARDS SUBJECT TO A $20 REPLACEMENT FEE. _____ Check your NCC e-mail and My NCC account when passwords are mailed to you. _____Attend mandatory orientation (first-time college students) then register for classes at either Main or Monroe Campus. Information will be mailed in November. _____ Apply to Northampton Community College Children’s Center for child care on both Main and Monroe Campuses, if needed. _____ Pay for classes (tuition due date Friday, January 2, 2015). _____ Go to College Center 200 or Student Services Office, Keystone Hall at the Monroe Campus with a copy of schedule and picture ID for NCC photo ID. ___ Create an NCC Alert account by linking to the “Emergency Notification System” at www.northampton.edu/alerts/. _____ Buy books at NCC bookstore or online at www.northamptonbookstore.com. _____ Semester is scheduled to begin Monday, January 12, 2015.
