Focus on building a Pre-Sales engineering team responsible for all aspects of technical field sales
engagement for GreenBytes. I am a working manager responsible for all the same tasks performed by my
team. I have worked on developing presentation material, White Papers, Best Practice Guides and other
field technical collateral. Act as primary technical liaison to all Partner engagements, including training,
solution design and customer deployment. Provide input/feedback to product management for product
development and target market considerations. Provide new hire technical training and skills
development. Train/Mentor all field technical staff to deliver all aspects of field technical material and
systems deployment. I also augment our QA department providing test and evaluation of systems and
software before release to the field.
Performed work on the company-wide IBM/Diligent integration team identifying connections, processes
and procedures for a smooth transition into IBM culture. Created tools for field facing solution
design/validation and processes for design validation for all of IBM on the Diligent ProtecTIER VTL
solution.
As a Sr. IT/Solution Architect, and regional resource, I helped drive Sales in my region that resulted in
the best quarter for the region in Diligent history, which exceeded the sales quota. My activities include
design creation/validation, presentations, seminars, SE mentoring/training, Partner mentoring/training and
development. Successes in wining mindshare from customers such as New York Stock Exchange,
Staples, NY State, CT State agencies and various others. Successful wins include IDC, Albany Medical
Center, University of Buffalo and Thomson Reuters. My duties also include hands on deployment of our
VTL solution into customer environments.
Built a quality team comprised of 11 SE’s, covering Northeast, Southeast and Government Regions. I
have responsibility for hiring, mentoring and supporting all technical pre-sales activities in my
geography. My group was able to achieve roughly 35% of world wide revenue for the company, with
major successes in the New York financials, Medical/Health care and Government areas. I provide
technical sales training to new hires for our field System Engineers and work with management teams in
identifying areas for improvement in the SE process. Worked on developing an SE “Ramp-up Guide”
used to acclimate and train new hire SE’s to ensure they are meet standards. Identified and co-authored
the SE Roles and Responsibilities for which each SE is held accountable. Obtained a Storage Networking
Industry Association (SNIA) Certification in 2006 and have produced a white paper on disk based backup
concepts and advantages with Pillar.

Guidelines for all field personnel. I co-authored a product requirement’s document for an Application

Responsibilities include managing EMC’s Strategic engineering relationships for Computer Associates,
Legato, BMC Software, Tivoli, Sybase, CommVault, Hewlet Packard (OnmiBack) and Integratus.
Management of a team of four engineers focused on the integration of EMC’s Application Programming
Interface’s (APIs) into various partner products. I was directly responsible for the integration activity for
thirteen engineering projects with six more under investigation.
