increasingly gaining credence as an essential substitute for paper-based medical records. And e-MRIS,
developed based on extensive analysis of business imperatives and leading-edge technology alternatives,
realizes the key objectives of EMR. e-MRIS Patient Folder and Document Manager modules are for patient
record maintenance. Both incorporate basic and advanced mechanisms for quick and secure access to
patients clinical records. e-MRIS Template Manager module incorporates an MRE (Medical Record Editor)
and supports embedded concepts, sub-templates, and forms to standardize information capture, while eMRIS Desktop module is a handy workflow management tool that helps users organize their task lists and
update and track and update task status.
My responsibility included database Conceptualization and development of various sub-modules of Patient

EJB 2.0 for server-side coding and C# was used for development of User Interface. A third party
integration tool Ja.Net was used to integrate java with Microsoft .Net by generating a .Net component
containing proxies for EJB client-side classes.

Project: Expense Approval Workflow Automation Project
Project Insight:
This project is a Workflow Application for general, travel, medical, cash and imprest expenses Approval.
The system tracks and manages various kinds of expenses incurred by the employees. It manages a
dynamic approval hierarchy depending on the user, expense type and expense amount. The system has been
developed in a modular fashion to enable it to be integrated with any backend financial system. It also
provides for provisioning at the start of every month and also generates a detailed worksheet of the
approved expenses every month for analysis.
My responsibility included development and testing the lotus scripts and formulas for all the features of
automation, expense filing database and expense request database.
Technology:
Based on Lotus Domino 6.5 server, scripts in lotus Scripts, formula usage for automation of workflow and
Lotus Debugger used for debugging the code.
Project: Earnest Banking System
Project Insight:
This Project is a banking application developed for Earnest Bank uses BMP Entity Beans to store the
transactions carried out for the ATM. The has to enter his detail like account ID and the amount he wishes
to credit or debit from his account, the updated balance is displayed in the form of a Report on browser.
The transaction get completed and recorded in the database after user verification, availability of amount to
be x-ferred and min. remaining balance in the account. The system is a J2EE application, which is
connected to an SQL Server database. User can enter the entire information thru a GUI based screen
(JSP/HTML page). This data has to be processed, validated and depending upon the requirement has to be
either stored in the Database or has to be redirected a report (output) file.
My Responsibility included development of entity beans with bean persistence which was used to store the
data regarding the entire transaction into the database.

Project: Web-Based Shopping mall for Toyz Store
Project Insight:
This Project is a web-based shopping mall for a store named Toyz Store, which allows first time shoppers
to register using registration applets and allocates a unique user ID and password to shop. Shoppers can
select the toys from the toys catalog and place them in shopping cart. Upon finalizing the order, Bill gets
generated and entire transaction is stored in database. The information of toys and shoppers is stored in
database and retrieved at run-time. The application uses Java Beans to connect to database created in SQL
Server 7.0. The site also shows advertisements on top frame created using Ad Rotator Component.
My responsibility included designing & development of Registration Applet and various logical and format
checks for correct data entry, development of connection coding in Java Beans using JDBC APIs to show
current price list and toys catalog.

Applets for Registration form , MS-Front page/JSP for front-end designing, Java Beans for database
connectivity using JDBC drivers to SQL Server 7.0. Ad Rotator COM Component created in Visual Basic
6.0for displaying advertisement .
Project: Recruitment System Project
Project Insight:
This project automates the recruitment systems for Bankers Trust International organization, which has
various methods for recruiting the employees. The recruitment methods include newspaper advertisement,
campus selection, Job Fairs, Recruitment agencies and Employee referral schemes. The information about
recruitment agencies, current employees and Job fair campus selection schedules are stored in the
database. records are maintained for the candidates applied for the various positions, which are vacant at
different departments. The calculation of referral bonus for employees happens based on position held and
department by the referred candidate.
My responsibility included the designing and development of database for recruitment information storage
in SQL server. Coding of Triggers to implement cascade delete, cascade update and restrict operations in
database tables.. Development of stored procedures written T-SQL to insert the records in database, which
were called in Java Server Pages.

Applets were used for Data Entry Forms, Stored Procedures written in T-SQL to insert data in database,
JSP/Servlets for database connectivity using java Beans using JDBC drivers to SQL Server 7.0.
Project: International Banking System
Project Insight:
This project is a web-based banking system in which customers can have online transaction with bank and
can access various offers and facilities given by bank to on-line customers. The banking transaction
includes checking of account balance, printing transaction sheet for a specific account no. for time duration,
transfer of money to other accounts, placing requests for stop payment of cheques & issue of new
chequebooks. The site can be used by administrators of banking system for monitoring, reporting, and
analysis purpose. Based on the user type (customer or administrator), user get different Privileges and
Access Rights e.g. only Administrator can generate the cumulative reports for the monthly financial
transaction for any account.
My responsibility included the design and development of all the Form Modules written in VB6.0, coding
functionality to perform various logical checks, validating the transactions happening online and recording

Technology:
Visual basic 6.0 was used for developing the forms for all transactions, SQL Server 7.0 used to store the
database. COM component written in VC++ to show the login screen and validating the user login
information against the user database. ODBC APIs used to connect the Form modules to SQL Server.
Project: On-line Testing software
Project Insight:
This project is online testing software used by the Creative Computer Education institute to access the
knowledge of their students on different subjects using objective type tests.. This software has an interface,
which shows the question and the options and allows user to select any one of them. It also has the facility
to bookmark questions and review them later . It shows the clock ticking backwards to keep track of the
time spent by the student on the test. The software gives the review list of various questions and mark them
in separate colors to reflect attempted, unattempted and book marked questions. The students can review all
the questions or select any specific category i.e. attempted, unattempted and book marked. The students can
submit the test upon completion and scorecard gets generated immediately on the screen to show the
performance. The student performance record and Online Question bank is stored in MS-Access database.
My responsibility included the development of test interface & review list interface using visual basic 6.0
Form Modules and displaying the clock to show remaining time .
Technology:
Visual Basic 6.0 form modules were created to display the questions, options, clock and navigation buttons.
An Active X control written in VB6.0 used to show the clock running backwards was embedded in the
form module. MS-Access used to create database for student performance records and Question bank.
Project: Credit Card Validation Server Project
Project Insight:
The credit card validation server is used to check whether the card is of a valid Type and whether the
number is a possible credit card number for that type. This check is done as a preliminary check to verify
the type and number of credit card. This validation ensures that a person cannot simply makeup a number
and use it. Visa, master Card, American Express, and Discover se an algorithm called Luhn algorithm to
create credit card numbers. These numbers are of a fixed length and have predefined prefixes. And are
called Luhn numbers. If the credit card number seems to be valid, he validity is checked from a commercial
database server containing the details bout all the credit cards.
My responsibility included the coding and testing of luhn algorithm and develop an ActiveX DLL Server
Program.

Project : Client/ Server Chat Application
Project Insight:
This project provides the chat facility to users on companys intranet. The project uses Active Server pages
to create interface for login and chat. The information about the registered users is stored in SQL Server
7.0. The interface shows various chat rooms available to users and allows selecting any one of them.
My responsibility included the coding of ASP to register users and database connectivity using Connection
and Command classes in ASP.
