Eastern Express Swim Team reserves the right to scratch swimmers/teams that have not paid their entry fees and turned in their waiver forms by the start of the meet. In order to provide the most “splash” opportunities, upon receipt of entries, the host team will allow all teams 5 days to “pre-meet scratch” (reduce their entries). This “pre-meet scratch” procedure is meant to allow additional teams into the meet based upon entered teams being “good citizens” and removing any athletes who will not be participating in the meet from their team entries. This clears room in the meet for swimmers from other teams who would otherwise be closed out.
