Facility:
Super Fast 8 lane 25m competition pool w/ Colorado Timing system and
warm-up pool.
Meet Format:
Preliminary sessions will be senior seeded. Finals will be 12 & under, 13-14
and 15 & over. A finals only. 800 Free will be timed finals limited to the top
32 entrants of each gender. Proof of time may be requested for 800 free. 12
& under events with less than 8 entries will be swum in finals as 14 & under.
Meet Rules:
The meet will be governed under current Swimming Canada rules.
Eligibility:
All swimmers currently registered with SNC or members of associations
affiliated with FINA are eligible.
There are no qualifying or de-qualifying standards for this competition.
Entry Limit:
300 swimmers. Swimmers are limited to 7 individual events.
Entry Fees:
$8.00 per individual event
$10.00 per relay event
Please make cheques payable to Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club.
Entry Deadline:
Meet entries and fees are due to the meet manager by May 28, 2010.
Please submit entries through the Swimming Canada website. Meet
management will confirm receipt of entries.

Scratch Deadline:
Scratch deadline for refunds will be May 28, 2010.
Scratches:
Heats: A scratch sheet, complete with the name of the club, the name of the
swimmer and the event numbers(s), must be handed to the Clerk of Course
no later than 30 minutes before the start of each session.
Finals: The scratch deadline without penalty shall be 30 minutes after the
conclusion of the preliminary heats of the session immediately preceding the
finals that day.
Relays:
Relays will be at the end of finals.
Awards:
Ribbons will be awarded 1st-8th place in all individual events and 1st-3rd place
in relay events.
Officials:
Visiting teams (outside of 50 km radius of Medicine Hat) parents are
encouraged to help with officiating. Clubs within a 50 km radius of Medicine
Hat are required to provide qualified officials and fulfill a minimum of 1 shift
per swimmer entered, as requested by the AMAC officials chair. There is
limited seating at the pool. Please contact Di Robson at 403-529-0492 or

Deck Entries:
Will only be accepted if no additional heats are created. All deck entries are
exhibition swims and not eligible for scoring/finals. Deck entries must be
approved by the meet manager and will cost $12 each.
Program Changes:
The Meet Manager reserves the right to revise the meet program if necessary.

The Callaghan Inn (currently being re-branded to Quality Inn) is offering
a preferred rate of $84.00/night plus taxes. All rooms have microwaves
and fridges and a hot breakfast is included in the price. Clubs/Swim
families simply need to ask for the AMAC rate when they book rooms.
