The Board Chairman will make the decision regarding courthouse closing due to inclement weather. The Emmet County Resource Conservation & Development appointments are as follows: Alan Madden, Supervisor and Bill Graettinger, At-Large, Dan Burton, Assistant to County Engineer, shared building plans to be submitted for Governor’s Readyto-go stimulus initiative. Burton discussed equipment repair and activities of the road department. He reported at least one lane had been opened county-wide after last night’s storm. Board approved contractors bond and contract with Manatt’s Inc for FM-C032(35)- -55-32 and STP-S-CO32(37)- -5E-32. Moved by Smith, seconded by Jenson. All ayes, motion carried. Armstrong Mayor, Marvin Dailey and Council member, Donald Leach, proposed cost sharing options to compensate for reduced revenues due to LOST (local option sales tax) and problems they are facing due to passage of county-wide LOST revenues. They are looking into proposals to help them get through these problems.
