ABOUT ME
I am a Professional Translator working on a freelance basis. My seven years
experience in the field of translation has enabled me to work in various areas of
expertise in collaboration with other freelancers and translation companies. Being in
Cameroon, I have had the opportunity to work with companies based in my country
and teams of translators abroad over large projects. I am familiar with Trados and
Wordfast.
OBJECTIVES:
To exert, in a devoted manner, my work as English-French/French-English Translator
and Proofreader, while giving satisfaction to my customers and seniors in rank; I
would like to reach the highest realms in all my fields of competence.
TRAINING:
2003: Master of Arts in Translation from the Advanced School of Translators
and Interpreters (ASTI), Cameroon with a Second Class Upper Division
(GPA: 3.61 on a scale of 4.0)
2001: Bachelor of Arts in English and French from the University of Buea with a
Second Class Lower Division (GPA: 2.91 on a scale of 4.0)
