Your assignment is to research an Inventor who has created something
associated with your technology. This invention should be influential/significant
to your chosen field of study. For example, if you are studying to become a hairdresser, research who invented the blow dryer or the curling iron-two very important
tools of your trade. Here are the steps to get started:
Step 1: Think of something important to your technology whether it’s a nail, hammer,
CNC machine, etc..
Step 2: Use the following links to gather information on your inventor.

Some information you should consider:
Birthplace/date
Family background
Schooling or lack there of
Jobs
How/why the inventor came up with idea?
What was the process/how long did it take?
How has this invention influenced my field of study?
Step 3:
Once you have done the research, write a two-to-three page paper on your
inventor and his/her invention. Try to tell a chronological story (starting from
birthplace on) about your inventor and how his/her invention has been
important to your technology.
*** The paper should be typed, double-spaced and should have a cover page with
a picture of the invention. Also, it must have a Works Cited Page.
