Invention/Inventor Project from 1700’s-1800’s February 13-March 5 3rd qtr. Project Benchmarks 8.3.9-Describe how the development of technology in the first half of the 19th century had an impact on American life. 8.8.1-Explain productivity in terms of output per worker, hour, machine, or unit of land, and its effect on standards of living in 18th/ and or 19th century America. 8.8.2- Describe the factors that influence production and consumption decisions in a market system. What is the goal? You will research and explain how the study of your inventor/invention impacted American life. You should be able to explain if it had an impact on the American society:Socially, Economically, and or Politically. You will be able to present your findings to the class orally.
