Job Introduction: The Production Assistant is an important member of our warehouse
team. Primary duties center on daily preparation of bagging materials, weighing and
packaging roasted coffee, and preparing shipping packages. This involves working in a
warehouse atmosphere and standing the majority of the day. Regular lifting of up to 50
pounds and working with and around heavy machinery is required. This position requires
a person who is conscientious, detail-oriented, highly flexible, and able to work in a small
team environment.
Position Details:
Part-Time, Monday-Thursday, 7:00-noon OR 8:00-1:00
Wage: Hourly + Benefit Options, TBA
Duties:
Knowledge of Production Tasks
• Labeling bags and boxes
• Precisely filling and sealing bags of coffee
• Loading coffee into hoppers
• Lifting and carrying bags, boxes, and buckets of coffee
• Stocking and maintaining inventory
• Organizing and cleaning the work area
• Accurately reading Sales Orders and picking merchandise for orders
Previous production or warehouse experience is not necessary but is certainly an asset.
The ability to learn-on-the-fly is essential. Willingness to accomplish delegated tasks
from upper management in an expedient manner is vital. Our production staff is
successful as a result of our ability to communicate respectfully and operate as a flexible,
diversified unit, capable of adapting to the ever-changing aspects of producing,
packaging, and shipping coffee.
The listed duties must be learned and accomplished within 90 days of being hired. All
resources necessary to accomplish these goals will be made available.
In addition to performing the specific production duties listed above, each employee is
required to learn about coffee and embody our company vision. Employees are
encouraged to participate in cuppings and workshops held by PT’s. If you have a passion
