appropriate training, coaching and feedback. Directly architect and administer a 400 TB Hitachi
Data Systems, Dell and Brocade Fibre Channel Storage Area Network. Manage Enterprise
server environments that are 95% virtualized with VMware and Hyper-V. Direct the
administration of 700 Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server virtual machines on Cisco
UCS, IBM and Dell hardware. Utilize CommVault Simpana for local and disaster recovery site

Senior UNIX and Storage Area Network Systems Engineer: Administered numerous HPUX,
AIX, Solaris and Red Hat Linux servers in multiple data centers. Architected and administered
Storage Area Network. Manage Brocade SAN Directors, McData SAN switches and McData
FC/IP switches. Architected and administered EMC DMX Symmetrix, HP EVA, IBM Shark,
IBM XIV and Xiotech Magnitude storage arrays with the storage capacity of over 300 TBs.
Managed data integrity of all mission critical servers leveraging HP DataProtector, Oracle
RMAN, EMC Timefinder and EMC Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF). Leveraged HP
MC-Service Guard and IBM HACMP to cluster mission critical servers. Utilized VMware for
RedHat Linux and Windows servers. Worked closely with DBA’s to maintain mission critical
Oracle databases and Oracle Applications. Work closely with application developers that support
WDI’s manufacturing environment on Oracle Application’s ERP Suite. On-Call 24x7.

Systems Analyst: Administered the daily operation of numerous Sun SparcStations, SparcServers
and Ultra Enterprise Servers running Sun Solaris. Utilized Veritas Volume Manager with
SparcStorage Arrays and EMC Symmetrix Arrays. Setup and maintained Netscape Enterprise
and Proxy Servers to provide a basis for the company’s Intranet and Internet solutions. Utilized
Firewall 1 to segregate MidAmerican’s internal network from the Internet. Worked with Oracle
DBAs to maintain mission critical databases. Documented departmental procedures.

MIS Manager: Assured the daily operation of a 60-plus user computer system. Maintained all
hardware and software. Evaluated, recommended and purchased all hardware and software for
effectiveness and need. Developed training sessions for Medical Manager, ADS Accounting and
other software applications. Formed policies and procedures for the MIS Department. Managed
daily operation of the security system and building facilities. Administered SCO UNIX servers
