Need to build a foundation/framework on how decisions will be made for class offerings based on data. Phase Approach to Framework cut and why Two year plans and pathways with minimum for times of cuts or for times of adding Top 10 transfer majors/CTE, outcomes data Enrollment data that can be given to Dept Chairs Are criteria prioritized? Should they be? Need to have feeling of transparency and understanding – need collective effort Understanding the challenges that departments/programs face (ie: marketing, facilities) Need to find out why students come here and why do they stay? Need for qualitative data/anecdotal data that explains enrollment abnormalies Marilyn Flores reviewed handout on the 4 Phases: Phase I – Awareness Phase II – Engagement (suggestion to add “work force and industry demand” under Things to Consider) Phase III – Communication and Prioritization Phase IV – Implementation Email list of suggestions for the framework to Craig and Marilyn.
