Third Hour:

Is devoted to team meetings. Each team of 4 is made up of a Biology, Neuroscience,

Psychology and MB&B or Chemistry major. The team chooses a mental disorder to study. In addition to presenting papers to the entire class they will use team meetings to educate each other. The team does not write a final paper. Instead, each member defines a specific and limited portion of the research literature to critically evaluate.

Biology 223 is a service-learning course that includes volunteering at CVH 1-3 hr/ wk.
