Task 1: Research product knowledge
Complete this product research matrix to build your knowledge of VFS products.
1. Write a brief summary of each of the three financial product categories you are qualified
to advise on (as Tier 2 representatives). List two VFS products from each category.
2. Select two Basic Deposit Products from the VFS Intranet and use the information to
complete the product features matrix.
3. Visit the website of one of our competitor banks and select a financial product which is
similar to one of the two VFS products you researched in step 2. Add this product to your
matrix.
4. Compare the VFS product to the similar competitor product. Write a brief summary of the
strengths and weaknesses of the VFS product.
