MEN'S LENTEN BREAKFAST SERIES Lent is again approaching and with it the
wonderful opportunity we have to be together in
the body of Christ. Our Men's Lenten Breakfast
series is the most inclusive ecumenical event in
Fremont. We meet each Friday morning (starting
this Friday) during Lent at 7:00 a.m. with
breakfast ($2.00) provided by the host church,
followed by a time of worship and education led
by the host pastor or a lay leader. We plan to be
finished by about 7:45 a.m. for those who have to
get to work. Our theme this year will be "The
Seven Deadly Sins." The schedule is printed in
the First's Fruits Newsletter and on the bulletin
board. Attendance is not limited to the host
churches. All men in the community are
welcome.
- Tonight: FYSH Fellowship with a
Valentine’s Day theme, 7:10-8:50pm.

Fremont Rec at 7:56pm. All high school students
are welcome to join!
SONG SERVICE LEADERS - We need
leaders beginning in March. There is a sign-up
sheet on the hallway cabinet for people that would
like to lead. Song Service is usually the 2nd & 4th
Sunday evenings of the month. Thank you to
those who lead!
ADVANCED NOTICE FOR GRIEFSHARE:
We would like to welcome anyone who has lost a
loved one to attend a GriefShare Group. We are
excited to share that we have new and updated
materials. This 13-week course offers help and
support for the grieving. Each class is special and
different. A $10 fee is for your personal
workbook, which you will use in the program to
help and guide you in your healing. Although you
might not be able to attend each week, you are
encouraged to do so. There is an open door
policy, so new people can join at any given time.
Sessions will be on consecutive Thursdays
beginning March 5, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Registration with our church (924-2460) is helpful
for planning, but is not required. This is an
excellent program to help you on your journey
from mourning to joy! For additional information
about the program you can also check out the
website at www.griefshare.org. We look forward
to meeting you at First Christian Reformed
Church and walking with you on your journey
through this difficult time. God Bless You!
THE BIBLE LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS effort
of collecting NEW and USED books, DVD's,
CD's, cassettes and VHS's is an ongoing project.
A collection box is located under the coat rack
near the Council room or speak with Maxine
Luchies for more information. Thank you for your
donations.
-REQUESTED ANNOUNCEMENTSA CANCER SUPPORT GROUP will meet the
2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
at the Fremont Wesleyan Church. For more
information call Kathy Sholty, 231-206-4513.
CHRIS ROOS - Over the weekend, the
announcement postponing the elections until
March 28 and April 11 was made. We give thanks
that the reaction to this announcement has been
relatively peaceful. March 28 will be elections for
the President and National Assembly. This is the
most closely contested Presidential election in the
history of Nigeria. Elections for Governors and
State Assemblies will hold on April 11. Continue
to pray for Nigeria and that the Lord will choose
the right people for these positions. -Chris Roos
