Senior Civics
Course Syllabus
Instructor: Mr. Johnson
I.
Introduction
Civics is a full year required course. The subject matter we cover in this
class is intended to help you understand American government thereby
making you a better prepared citizen for the future. A careful study of
government will also make you a better critical thinker as the subject
forces you to analyze problems and evaluate solutions. Keep in mind, all
of us, on a daily basis, are affected by decisions people in government
make. For this reason this class will be one of the most relevant classes
that you will have your senior year.
