LIKUENA
Likuena is a cream of our soccer talent and the National Pride of the Basotho Nation. It is an
Appropriate medium vehicle which could be used to; promote your business interest
I.e. product, services of any company.
Likuena is assembled on the basis of the number of international competitions that Lesotho
Football Association has registered for any given year, i.e. World Cup, CAF, and African Cup of
Nations and COSAFA.
For Likuena to do the above, it must camp adequately enough for its preparations and supplied
With requisite equipment like training gear, balls, boots etc.
Likuena at some stage experienced a series of unsuccessful games, and that affected our
National morale .However, there is improvement in the recent year and has played well against
Some African’s giants like Zambia, Angola, Namibia, Zimbabwe, until Likuena reached finals of
COSAFA 2000, where it met with Zimbabwe although we lost.
