Key Responsibilities: Check and authorise payment instructions in an accurate and timely manner using the core banking system (Thaler), and verify payment in clearing systems, in full compliance with foreign exchange regulations and other relevant laws and regulations of Vietnam. Ensure all Nostro and suspense accounts are reconciled daily and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved on the day Monitor daily cash flows through Nostro and suspense accounts and reconcile against positions held by Treasury to ensure that optimal use of funds is achieved by the Treasury department. Authorise incoming and outgoing remittances in Core Banking System (Thaler) Process Treasury and Trade transactions Compute financial fees, interest, and service charges. Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance. Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers' accounts. Proactively explain, promote and cross sell bank products and services to satisfy identified customer needs. Identify customer needs and generate quality referrals. Provide information on any queries from customers in relation to bank products/services. Handle customer complaints & resolve in a timely manner. Contribute to the achievement of branch sales/service targets by meeting/exceeding individual goals. Uphold customer satisfaction by supporting external and internal customers and answering questions/requests in a timely manner. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by following the Bank’s privacy policy Authorities: The Senior Payment Development Officer role will hold responsibility supporting the Assistant Manager Operations with all day to day operations of a foreign bank branch, including various reporting activities. This role is dedicated to the support of the Bank’s front line Customer Service team and the development of sales opportunities as related to remittances, payments, trade / trade finance, treasury products and identification of improvements to day to day operational processes.
