We are looking for a qualified Vietnamese national to work in our Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City in the position of Deputy Branch Manager. Initially this role is responsible for developing and implementing branch policies and procedures for CBA Vietnam in combination with the Branch Manager, Operations Manager and the CBA VN project team. The role will then transition into a fulltime Deputy Branch Manager’s position that will hold responsibility and accountability to assist the Branch Manager to achieve sales and service targets, management of expense budget, and all day to day functions of a foreign bank branch, including adherence to Operational Risk and Compliance policies. In the absence of the Branch Manager this role will act on the branch manager’s behalf. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage sales plan to achieve the sales target Set, review and communicate sales target to all levels of staff across the CSR non cash team Lead, manage and champion sales and services process within the Branch Lead, motivate and develop Branch team through observation, feedback and coaching Interact with customers to develop customer relationships, create interest in products and services that may suit their needs and facilitate customer attraction and retention Analyse and manage the work performance of the team to identify better ways to perform tasks and contribute ideas to make systems and processes more effective Ensure staff resources are effectively managed to meet customer demands Develop and build internal and external lead networks by promoting the Bank through actively participating in and contributing to the local community Contribute to and initiate local marketing and promotional activities and review outcomes Provide input to plan development and acceptance of Branch Operational Plan Assist the Branch Manager to analyse the branch’s business and physical environment to devise plans and strategies to achieve the Branch Operational Plan Ensure the sales and service focus and expectations driven by the Country Head are delivered and understood by team members on a day to day basis Resolve and respond to customer queries/complaints in a timely and effective manner Explain, promote, or cross sell bank products or services to provide referrals.
