With great interest I would like to apply for the above position in your organization. Enclosed
is my resume for your kind consideration.
I have more than 7 years of hands-on managerial experience out of the 13 years experience I
have in the hospitality industry. I hold a Diploma in Hospitality Management and a Certified
Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) awarded by the Educational Institute AHLA, USA. In
2004 I graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern
Queensland, Australia.
My working experiences in the Hospitality Industry are mainly in Housekeeping with
exposures in Front Office, Maintenance and Human Resources. I have worked with
International Hotels (Ancasa Hotels & Resorts, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels &
Resorts, and The Meritus Hotels & Resorts) and Independent Hotels (Merdeka Palace Hotel
& Suites, Kuching, The Pulai Desaru Beach Resort, Johor).
The above experiences were with 3 pre-opening (4-5 Star) Hotels, 3 well established (5 Star
Hotels) and 3 Resorts (4-5 Star Island/Mainland). This had exposed me to
upgrading/refurbishment & preventive maintenance of hotels & resorts and the effectiveness
and efficiency of standards, process and systems.
In addition I had lecturing experiences with two hospitality colleges as a part-time lecturer
with Stamford College Kuala Lumpur and Taylor’s College Subang Jaya.
