The Ultimate Crime Scene Performance Final Your performance final exam project will call upon all of your creative juices! You will create a virtual crime scene (PowerPoint) that will be presented to the class. Your crime scene must be thoroughly documented (photography, notes & sketches) and provide evidence from at least five of the units we have covered/will cover this year (Anthropology, Arson, Ballistics, Blood, DNA, Documents, Drugs, Fingerprints, Glass & Soil, Hair & Fiber). Display the information as effectively as you can. Apply information presented in this class, along with what you have learned in other classes and life. Your crime scene will be presented to classmates, and the teacher will evaluate its accuracy. The final grade will be based on your creativity, difficulty, and technical accuracy. Specific Requirements: You will create a PowerPoint presentation that will take the viewer step by step through the investigative/forensic process. Your PowerPoint will include the following: Number of Slides (minimum) Topic of Slides 5 5- 10 may put more than one photo on a slide Optional 5 5 1 1 2 Overview photos of the crime scene that you have staged. Don’t forget to take pictures of entrances and exists as well as the actual crime scene. Photos of each piece of evidence: close-ups and shots that show the orientation of each in the crime scene. Don’t forget to include a scale in each photo! Photos of suspects or other points of interest that may aid in the analysis of the crime scene. (Optional) A slide for each piece of evidence describing how it was collected, processed at the crime scene and the type of lab to where it was sent.
