receive their bibs, there will be a “baggage” tag attached to their number, which should be removed and
pinned on any items to be left in the baggage area. There will be volunteers and security there, however,
please encourage your employees not to bring any valuables, as security cannot be guaranteed and NYRR
and AHA are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
Community Activities – Create Hope, Inspire Change, Celebrate Success
There will be a number of sponsored booths within three main “Communities”- Create Hope presented
by AstraZeneca and NYU Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Inspire Change presented by Healthy Choice,
and Celebrate Success presented by Subway.
Please encourage your employees to take advantage of the free health screenings, activities and literature

Faces of Heart
All “Red Cap Survivors” – individuals who have survived a cardiovascular-related surgery, heart attack,

Lower Level, to pick up a red baseball cap, symbolizing life and a celebration of survival. Please
encourage survivors to visit the booth before the race begins, and after.
Superstar Top Fundraisers
Please let your Top Fundraisers (those who have raised $500 or more) know to look for their “Top
Fundraiser” button at registration, at the table marked for donation collections. These individuals will
receive special recognition and appreciation for their efforts at the awards announcement after the race, as
well as at the Awards Party held in mid July. Please encourage individuals who have raised at least
$500 to stop by this table at check-in, in the AMEX building.
