IV. New Business
K. Whitty spoke with Joseph with ATI and emailed
the senior class president with Joseph’s contact
information and provided the class president with
Joseph’s information. It is up to the students to
determine if this is something they would like to do.
B. Meeker discussed with M. Burke, Management
Course coordinator, who has tried to incorporate the
exam into the management course in the past without
success due to course content and lack of time for the
exam.
Test will not be incorporated
into the course at this time.
A. Foundations Level: P. Thomas reported that
foundation level students will take ATI on May 2 and
May 3 with repeat testing on May 8 and May 9. Two
students require 1.5 time accommodations and that
has been changed in ATI. The 2013 exam will be
used at this level with a benchmark of 63.3.
P. Thomas will report results
of Foundations Level testing
at the next scheduled meeting.
B. Integrative Level: L. Auzenne reported that in
Term I, 39 peds students took the ATI exam, 8 failed
and repeated with all 8 passing the second time. 47
OB students took the ATI exam, 1 failed and
repeated, passing the second time. Both groups took
the 2010 version of the exam, as will Term II students
as scheduled for later in the semester. N382 students
are scheduled to take ATI on April 17.
L. Auzenne will report results
of Integrative Level Term II
Peds/OB testing and N382
testing at the next scheduled
meeting.
C. Synthesis Level: B. Meeker reported that 61
community students took the ATI, 7 failed and will
retake on April 29. The benchmark for the exam was
Level II (66%). 59 students took the 2013B RN
Comprehensive ATI exam with 19 failures. These
students will retake on April 30. The benchmark for
this exam is 69.3 equivalent to a 90% NCLEX pass
rate. 62 students took the RN Pharmacology ATI
exam, 16 failed and will retake on April 29.
K. Whitty will request RN
Pharm and RN Comp ATI
retakes.
Benchmark is Level II or 63.3%.
D. ATI results: meaningful use: K. Whitty has
