How to Propose an Action to Your Local Unit:
Member A: “I move that…..”
Member B: “I second the Motion.”
Chair: “It is moved and seconded that… Is there any discussion?”
If “yes”, Members: “Discussion is led by chair.”
If “no”, Chair: “ The question is on the adoption of the motion that… Those in favor of the motion, say “aye”. Those opposed,
say “no”. The ayes (or no’s) have it and the motion is adopted (or defeated).”
