to consult Persian poetic lines for guidance and remembering the bonds
of friendship and a community of love and gratitude for life.
The program includes but not limited to:
*a few words about Rumi *a presentation entitled
Mehr*recitation and reading from the celebrated
thirteenth-century Persian mystic poet Mawlavi Balkhi
*synopsis of the story and the celebration of Mehregan
*Persian music, DVD and video presentation for
traditional and folk music of Iran *recognition of 2009
Persian Language Scholarship Recipients
