Class participation is a principal component of all courses in the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Program, although the degree to which it affects individual grades varies from course to course and by instructor to instructor. As expected, attendance is required and can affect a student's final grade in that class. Grades in the MBA Program are on a pass/fail system. H = High Pass P = Pass L = Low Pass F = Fail Student academic performance is evaluated at the end of each module to determine eligibility status. Academic ineligibility results if a student earns a failing grade (F) in any course, or if a student earns a low pass (L) in 25% or more of his or her credit hours during a given module. MBA students attending UNC Kenan-Flagler from other institutions (Exchange Students) are required to meet the same academic eligibility standards. Exchange students, failing to meet eligibility requirements during their studies at UNC Kenan-Flagler, will have their home institution formally notified by the Exchange Program Manager of their academic standing.
