To Partcipants in the 8th ISEM ’13-Sendai
Call for Papers
for a 2014 Special Issue of Journal of the Japanese Society for Experimental Mechanics
Following the 1st ISEM 06–Sapporo (Japan), the 2nd ISEM 07-Osaka (Japan), the 3rd ISEM 08-Tainan (Taiwan),
the 4th ISEM 09-Niigata (Japan), the 5th ISEM 10-Kyoto (Japan), the 6th ISEM 11-Kansai (Japan), the 7th ISEM
12-Taipei (Taiwan) jointed with ACEM and SEM, and the 8th ISEM 13-Sendai (Japan), papers selected from
the Proceedings will be published in a dedicated Special Issue of Journal of the Japanese Society for
Experimental Mechanics. Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers in a specified format* to the
Secretariat of ISEM through e-mail (address given below). Submissions will soon undergo the normal review
process by two independent referees. Please remind that if accepted for publication in the Special Issue, all
authors should pay for submission fee (¥35,000* within 6 pages for JSEM members and ¥45,000 for JSEM
non-members), which covers a copy of Special Issue volume and a pdf reprint. Kindly notice that color printing
will be charged additionally if it is liked by the authors.
*Note: ¥ 100 ＝1.02 US$ (as of November 8, 2013)
