Brief overview of Course:
Business organizations exist because there is something to produce. This course serves as an
introduction to the world of production management; and provides students with theoretical foundation
for production management as well as the application of quantitative decision making tools to
production problems in industry settings.

Course Objectives/Goals:
At the end of this course, the students are expected to:
 Acquire analytical skills for the management of production activities
 Have a sound theoretical base for production management
 Identify principal problem areas of concern in production management.
