We tend to think of learning as something we do in school or on courses but it is important to remember that all that you do and all you think has been learned and it is precisely because you have learned as you have, that you are unaware of your lack of choice. The function of a kinesiology balance is to re-set the body’s system in order that with the knowledge gleamed, new choices can be made. Who taught you to walk? What is the reason we walk as we do? You don’t need to go to the Monty Python extreme of the “Ministry for funny walks” to see what I mean just look around. LEFT P RIGHT C P M C M CHOICE Considering the left and right, front and back elements of our construction we can see that we have a Yin and Yang, Male and Female, Acid and Alkaline, Positive and Negative etc situation. We also have a past and present and future representation of all these. For integration of all components it would be important to walk in a cross pattern with the right and left and top and bottom moving in an integrated pattern. This would cause the integration of all P.N.C. components on both sides and front and back of the person ie, we walk to co-ordinate and to integrate. This being the case whenever we programme the body with something and then crosscrawl that very something allows it to be integrated into the whole. By walking we constantly remind the body to integrate those things it has forgotten for some reason or another. Any stress can cause a homo-lateral response and integration and co-ordination of all body functions will not be taking place. If the stress has been long term or it was of sufficient force to cause alienation of some function the body sometimes forgets to reintegrate after the stress has passed ie. Long-term syndromes. Homo-lateral pattern should weaken indicator muscles unless the person is not integrated or is consciously overriding the Homo-lateral reflex. Many times you will see athletes and dancers whom you would suspect to be well co-ordinated, will have a positive homo-lateral response. They have forgotten how to switch it off and are normally hyper tense. Cross Crawl / Homo Crawl has so many uses. Eg. 1) Learning - Logic and creative abilities 2) Gait & Posture - Co-ordination of Gait and Posture performance 3) Nutritional - Co-ordination of left and right body nutrients - Integration of Nutritional deficiencies - Integration of Allergy corrections - Integration of Digestive valves including ICV. 4) Cranial Fault Indication 5) Cerebral Spinal Fluid pump 6) Metal Toxicity corrector 7) Muscles. Muscles themselves can be individually effected Homo laterally. Hypertonic / over facilitation 8) Endocrine. Glands can be homo lateral effecting other glands ie.Homo Thymus effecting Thyroid. 9) The correction of Acid / Alkaline of digestion and body fluids. 10) Effect on breathing 11) Cross K 27’s – Mental Disturbance indication 12) Emotional - Long-term emotion stressors corrected and re-integrated into the whole. 13) Relevance to Cerebelum – Eyes open and to eyes closed relate also to top and bottom switching. 14) Any long-term problem P.C or M will have a cross crawl relevance! 15) There is no kinesiology balance achieved without a correct cross-patterning and can be a useful screen as well as diagnostic in relation to cause of problems. 16) Conscious aware walking is a very powerful therapy, the emphasis on conscious & aware. 17) The Ancients used co-ordination in their martial art training. Man goes into chemist and asks for a jar of vasolene, the chemist says, “Certainly sir just walk this way”. The man replies “If I could walk that way I would not need the vasolene”. Considering the importance of walking don’t you think it’s time to re-learn to walk intelligently and correctly this time?
