This role is accountable for day-to-day activities and tasks associated with the following 4 core processes related to the change request process and system maintenance of critical master data in SAP-ECC: 1) Daily operational MDM processes and master data maintenance (entry of new or change of existing Master Data elements) in SAP-ECC, PDMLink, PkMS 2) On-going improvements and documentation of the MDM (Master Data Management) data standards, process flows and supporting systems (e.g. SharePoint) 3) On-going measurement and auditing of master data content & quality 4) Providing master data training and support to end-users This is a cross-functional support role to the organization. This role will work closely with multiple departments including Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering and Sales & Marketing in the processing of master data change requests and the support of end-users. Responsibilities include: Processing (entry of new or change of existing Master Data elements) of master data change requests per the standard DMO processes Reviewing master data change request forms for completeness and quality Performing master data changes in the SAP-ECC system in a timely manner with high quality Working with Manager, DMO to design and implement process improvements, update data standard & process flow documentation or development of supporting system improvements (e.g. SharePoint) Apply knowledge of CGI business needs and organization to solve problems related to master data Suggest and implement solutions to business problems related to master data Provide analysis of business and organization implications and options for Master Data structures and changes Regular interactions with multiple departments including Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering and Sales & Marketing in the processing of master data change requests and the support of end-users This role and the DMO team core team will be located in Elmhurst, IL with a satellite location in Nogales, MX, and will interface with multiple locations including; Technical Service Center in Tucson, AZ; Manufacturing in Nogales, MX; Distribution Centers in Tucson, AZ and other sites across North America as well as EMEAA and Oceania. Administering and maintaining adherence to established master data processes. Measuring and presenting work outputs. Identifying gaps with the existing master data management (MDM) practices, proposing solutions and implementing improvements. Observing and reviewing data governance, organization, policies, standards, processes, and systems to keep current with latest organization. Analysis of master data for Accuracy, Completeness, Conformity, Consistency, Integrity, Timeliness, Uniqueness and Relevance against established master data rules and definitions of usage. Providing organizational training on master data and DMO processes, as required. Supporting design and implementation of technology systems to automate MDM processes. Data Processing of master data change requests in the SAP-ECC system in a timely manner with high quality per standard DMO processes Occasional travel required to other Chamberlain facilities. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent required. Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business and/or Information Technology. Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment executing or supporting one or more of the following: Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering or Sales & Marketing Experience as a project team member or business process team member on a business or technology project a plus Experience in Business process design, documentation and implementation a plus Experience in IT Technical design or development a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: SAP or equivalent ERP system experience is critical. Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail, thoroughness and rigor in the execution of responsibilities. Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Finance and Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering or Sales & Marketing processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including written and oral communications and presentation. Must be proficient with MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint). Ability to work cross-functionally and to learn and adapt to new business processes, technologies, and environments. Ability to effectively collaborate and partner in a global/matrix environment.
