technology, the University of Arkansas Global Campus SHRM Learning
System faculty will deliver course content “live” from a Rogers Global Campus
classroom. This course is designed for two audiences:
-
Participants seeking continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field, and
Participants preparing to take the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human
Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by the HR Certification Institute.
The University of Arkansas Global Campus program has an outstanding record of participants passing the certification
exams, consistently exceeding the national average in the aggregate.
The program uses the SHRM® Learning System which is updated with current HR policies and legislation. As a
professional development tool, the Learning System can increase a participant’s knowledge of the field of human
resources and provide current reference of HR practices. As a certification preparation tool, the Learning System has a
measurable track record of success for those qualified to sit for the exam. See www.hrci.org for eligibility requirements.
This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The course cost of $1200 includes 12 class sessions (including Global Campus-created on-demand, online tutorials), the
SHRM Learning System books (at a substantial cost savings over purchasing the books directly from SHRM), SHRM
online resource center, mobile tools (including access to study modules on your eReader), access to Blackboard, an
endless number of on-line practice tests, and all recorded sessions. Please note the course investment does not cover
registration for the PHR or SPHR examinations. See www.hrci.org for exam costs and application dates.
By enrolling in this course, you’ll benefit from: industry-expert, experienced instructors; access to recorded sessions; Web
resources; mobile apps and eReader capability; a structured learning environment to keep you on schedule; opportunity
to build your peer network; and 3.6 continuing education units (CEUs) for successful completion of the course.
