Program.

Request approval to appoint Phil Martell as the voting representative and Cherie Routzahn as the alternate, if needed, for the Connellsville Area School District and the Connellsville Area Career and

Technical Center for the annual IU1 Health Consortium Meeting.

A.

Patrick Maloy, Network Administrator, resigned effective upon receipt of resignation letter.

B.

Daniel Laura, Senior High School teacher, will be retiring effective June 5, 2015 and the Board

Secretary will send him a letter of appreciation for his years of service.

C.

Mandy Lynn, South Side Elementary School teacher, will be taking a Family & Medical Leave absence beginning April 22, 2015 for the remainder of the 2014-2015 school year.

D.

Vicki Snyder, Senior High School nurse, will be taking a sabbatical leave of absence for the 2015-2016 school year.

E.

John Cavanaugh, Junior High Football Asst. Coach, resigned effective immediately and the position will be posted.

F. William Shipley, CTC Instructor, and approximately 8 students attended Columbia Gas Career Day,

Greensburg, PA, Thursday, April 16, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

G. Geri Karinchak and Brandy Leasher, Dunbar Borough Elementary School teacher, chaperones Karen

Clark, Jody Mangus and Brooke Shoemaker, and approximately 28 students will be taking a field trip to Laurel Caverns, Hopwood, PA, Friday, May 15, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

H. Beverly Keffer, Shelley Murphy, Lori Heinbaugh, Keri Cook, Jennise Rock, Megan Adams, Eileen

Salatino, Dunbar Township Elementary School staff, chaperones Rose John and Amber Fike, and approximately 69 students took a field trip to Earth Day movie, Carmike Cinema,

Greensburg, PA, and lunch at Paint Room, Connellsville, PA, Friday, April 17, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

I. Mary Ann Hensel, Melissa Farrell, Stacey Bonadio, Pam Kosinski, South Side Elementary School staff, and approximately 42 students will be taking a field trip to Wild Animal Show, Nemacolin

Woodlands Resort, Thursday, May 21, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

J. Chuck Michael, Mick Lilley, Nicole Painter, Missy Stoots, Debbie Craig, and Amy Nicholson,

Bullskin Township Elementary School staff, and approximately 60 6 th

grade students will be attending the Civil War Festival, Friday, May 29, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

K. Chuck Michael and Bullskin Township Elementary School staff and K-5 students will be attending the

Civil War Festival at different times, as scheduled, Friday, May 29, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

L. Hannah Hearn, Dari Gilpin, Karen Shandorf, Jodi Curry, Maureen Foreman, Lori Richter, CTC staff, and approximately 7 students took a field trip to PNC Park Tour and Jerome Bettis Grille 36,

Pittsburgh, PA, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

M. Jerry Matthews, Tom Niswonger and Sonia Bentley, CTC staff, and approximately 30 students took a field trip to Carpenter’s Training Center Open House, Pittsburgh, PA, Friday, May 8, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

N. Carol Rock, Marcy Witt, Stacey Traynor, Melissa Farrell, South Side Elementary School teachers, and approximately 46 students will be taking a field trip to Geyer Theater, Scottdale, PA and Washington

St. Park, Connellsville, PA, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

O. Nicole Painter, Mick Lilley, Debbie Craig, Amy Nichelson, Karen Mulac, Bullskin Township

Elementary School staff, and approximately 52 students will be taking a field trip to East Park for a stream study, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, and a rain date of Friday, May 22, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

P. Nicole Painter, Mick Lilley, Debbie Craig, Amy Nichelson Bullskin Township Elementary School staff, and approximately 52 students will be taking a field trip to water festival, Fayette County

Fairgrounds, Connellsville, PA, Thursday, May 21, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Q. Nicole Painter, Mick Lilley, Amy Nichelson, Debbie Craig, Karen Mulac, Bullskin Township

Elementary School staff, and approximately 52 students will be taking a field trip to Mountain Pines

Resort for a swim party, Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

R. Amy Rummel, Denise Shearer, Connellsville Township Elementary School staff, and approximately

17 students will be taking a field trip to Yough Lanes, Connellsville, PA, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

S. John Hamman, CTC Instructor, and approximately 8 students will be attending WCCC for a college credit course, Mt. Pleasant, PA, Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at an approximate cost of $100.00 for one substitute, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

T. Jeff McWilliams, CTC Instructor, chaperone Vicki McWilliams, and approximately 50 students will be taking a field trip to Strip District, Pittsburgh, PA, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

U. Sarina Hoover, Lauren Parsons, C.N. Pritts Elementary School teachers, and approximately 24 students will be taking a nature walk on trail, Monday, May 11 or rain date of Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

V. Dr. Justin Guess, Senior High School gifted teacher, and approximately 15 students will be participating in the Fayette County’s Children’s Watershed Festival, Dunbar, PA, Thursday, May 21,

2015, at an approximate cost of $180.00 for one substitute and transportation, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

W. Anissa Stafford and Nikki Painter, Bullskin Township Elementary School staff, and approximately 15 students will be attending student council lunch, Bud Murphy’s, Connellsville, PA, with a date to be determined in May or June 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Rachael O’Nell, Brenda Henry, C.N. Pritts Elementary School staff, and chaperones Stephanie Emert-

Brown, Lisa Schultz, Melissa Knopsnider, Carla White, will be taking a field trip to Naugle’s Sawmill,

Champion, PA, Friday, May 15, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Y. Linda Eicher, Beth Wagner, Megan Nulph, Bonnie Basinger, West Crawford Elementary School staff, and approximately 50 students to plant flowers at the memorial near McDonalds, Connellsville, PA,

Friday, May 15, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Z. Dr. Justin Guess, Senior High School gifted teacher, and approximately 5 students will be participating in the State Envirothon Competition, University of Pitt Johnstown, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 and May 20, 2015, at an approximate cost of $300.00 for one substitute and transportation, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

AA. Amy Witt, South Side Librarian, along with staff and chaperone Mrs. Conn and approximately 175 students will be taking a field trip to East Park, Monday, June 1, 2015, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

BB. The following Buildings and Grounds uses are scheduled, subject to each individual/group providing the district with a certificate of insurance as appropriate, in accordance with the district Utilization of School District Facilities Policy:

Connellsville Junior High Interact Club will be using the Junior High gym, cafeteria, room 14, lawn for Sydney’s Shake-a-thon, Saturday, May 30, 2015, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

2.

Spanish Honor Society will be using the Senior High School auditorium for induction ceremony, Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

3.

Connellsville Pony and Colt League will be using the Trotter Field for baseball games April thru June 2015.

4.

Connellsville Recreation Board will be using the Senior High School swimming pool

Wednesdays and Thursdays, June 24, 25, July 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2015, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Group Charges

5.

John Woodruff Running Club will be using the Falcon Stadium for a 5K, Wednesday, July 8,

Falcon Band will be using the Senior High School auditorium for a band concert, Thursday,
