1. Request to approve the revisions to the Manufacturing Production I curriculum, as proposed.
2. Request to approve revisions to the Manufacturing Production II curriculum, as proposed.

thru May 4, 2013, at a reimbursement cost of $200.00, in accordance with the Conference Travel
Reimbursement Guidelines, and approximately $200.00 for one substitute for two days, in accordance
with the district travel policy.
16. Request approval for Jude Gore, Elementary Band teacher, to attend the 2013 PMEA Annual
Conference, Bayfront Convention Center, Erie, PA, Wednesday thru Saturday, April 17 thru April 20,
2013, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district travel policy.
17. Request approval of the agreement between the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc.
and the Connellsville Area School District, for the Pre-K Counts Partnership of Fayette, as proposed.

1. Request approval to continue with full-day kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year and to

2. Request approval for Jon Eutsey (Henry Molinaro’s substitute) and one student to participate in the
PMEA Region 1 Chorus, Moon Township High School, Thursday thru Sunday, March 21 thru March
23, 2013, at an approximate cost of $500.00 for substitute, registration, lodging and transportation, in
accordance with the district student travel policy.
3. Request approval for Melinda Orczeck, Junior High teacher, and approximately 2 students to participate
in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science State Meet, Penn State University, State College, PA,
Sunday thru Tuesday, May 12 thru May 14, 2013, at an approximate cost of $1,200.00 for one substitute
for two days, registration, lodging and travel, in accordance with the district student travel policy.
4. Request approval of the 2013-2014 school calendar, as proposed.

approximately 60 students will be taking a field trip to East Park, Connellsville, PA, Thursday, May
16, 2013, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Nicole Painter, Mick Lilley, Bullskin Township Elementary School teachers, and approximately 60
students will be taking a field trip to the Water Festival, Fayette County Fairgrounds, Thursday, May
23, 2013, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Hannah Bosnic and Vicki Jordan, Junior High Learning Support teachers, and approximately 8
students will be attending a vocational training at Red Lobster, Uniontown, PA, Tuesday, April 30,
2013, at an approximate cost of $275.00 for two substitutes and transportation, in accordance with the
district student travel policy.

Benjamin Haines, Junior High music teacher, and approximately 80 students will participating in the
Performing Arts Consultants (PAC) musical adjudication festival, West Mifflin, PA, Saturday, May 4,

Henry Molinaro, Dane Shultz, and Debbie Luczka, and approximately 110 musical cast members,
participated in a musical preview at the Connellsville Junior High, Friday, March 1, 2013, at an
approximate cost of $200.00 for transportation, in accordance with the district student travel policy.

Gayle Cuneo, Junior High music teacher, and approximately 100 students will participate in the AllStar Chorus “World Tour”, Clifford N. Pritts and Zachariah Connell Elementary Schools, Wednesday,
May 15, 2013, at an approximate cost of $500.00 for one substitute and transportation, in accordance
with the district student travel policy.
G.
Ronald Barry, CACTC instructor, and approximately 26 students will be taking a trip to the UPMC
pre-hospital services cadaver lab, Uniontown Fire Department Social Hall, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at
no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel policy.
H.
Ronald Barry, CACTC instructor, will be attending the IUP Protective Services Instructor Professional
Development workshop, Parkway West CTC, Oakdale, PA, Thursday, April 18, 2013, at an
approximate cost of $100.00 for one substitute, in accordance with the district travel policy.

Nicole Dowden, LouAnn Fabian, Dunbar Township Elementary School teachers, and Life Skills
Support classes will be taking a field trip to the CACTC to see the Zoo Mobile presentation and Rock
Starz, Friday, April 5, 2013, at no cost to the district, in accordance with the district student travel
policy.

5. Skills USA will be using the CACTC gym area for a Spring Fling Dance, Friday, March 15, 2013,
6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
6. Falcon Band will be using the Senior High School for a band banquet, Friday, April 5, 2013, 3:00
p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
7. Senior High Girls Basketball will be used the Senior High School cafeteria for a banquet, Friday,
March 1, 2013, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
8. Kids and Company will be using the Senior High School for a dance rehearsals, Thursday and
Friday, May 30 and May 31, 2013, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and recitals Saturday, June 1, 2013,
12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 2, 2013, 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
9. Connellsville Soccer Club will be using the Falcon Stadium for training classes on Friday, March
22, 2013, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and March 24, 2013, 9:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Group Charges: $45 per hour
