Trustees of Epworth Old Rectory
Chair: Graham Carter for immediate appointment. Graham is the ex-President of the
Conference and has participated in World Methodist Council (WMC) meetings - the Rectory is
connected in a complicated way to the WMC.
Secretary: Brian Thornton with effect from 1 November. Brian is a former Vice-President of
Conference, is well known Connexionally and in the wider Methodist Church. He has invaluable
experience as a fundraiser for NCH, and has experience of large scale building projects at mph,
both skills urgently needed at Epworth at present. He also has managerial skills and interpersonal
skills that will be of value to the Trustees.
